Caramelized Honey Air-Fryer Chicken Thighs
These caramelized honey air‑fryer chicken thighs are the kind of weeknight recipe you make once and immediately add to your rotation. They come out glossy, golden, and deeply flavorful — with crisp edges, juicy centers, and a sticky honey glaze that caramelizes beautifully in the air fryer. Minimal ingredients, minimal cleanup, and maximum payoff.

Caramelized Honey Air-Fryer Chicken Thighs
Equipment
- 1 tongs
- 1 mixing bowl small
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons seasoning blend of choice, see the note below for my go-to blend
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2-3 teaspoons honey
Instructions
- Preheat & Season: Preheat the air fryer. Salt and pepper the chicken, let it sit for 10 minutes, then pat it dry. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of your favorite spice blend on the top and bottom of the thigh. For more information on my preferred spice blend, check the recipe note below.
- Dredge: Add the flour to a plate or bowl. Dredge one thigh at a time until all sides are well-coated. Place the chicken, skin-side up, in the basket or air fryer paper liner.
- Air Fry: Cook at 385°℉ for 10 minutes. Open the basket and brush the top of the chicken with honey. Cook for an additional 10 to12 minutes, depending on the thickness of your thighs, until the internal temperature reaches 185°F.
- Rest & Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes before transferring to a serving platter.
